At the beginning of September, Michał Karpiński and Michał Mikołajczyk participated in the Sympozjum Techniki Laserowej (Laser Technology Symposium).Michał Mikołajczyk was awarded the second prize in the prof. Zbigniew Puzewicz competition for his oral presentation. Congratulations!
This summer we have two summer students: Karol from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, on a Candela Foundation scholarship, and Doğukan from Turkey. We are also enjoying a visit of Prof. Brian Smith from the University of Oregon (USA).

Adam Widomski, a master student in Quantum Photonics Lab, won a prize for best poster at a physics students conference FOKA 2018 in Wrocław. It is a truly well deserved prize!
This month four members of our group took part in QCUMbER Conference on ultrafast multimode entanglement and measurement which focused mostly on spectro-temporal modes of light. We presented two posters and an abstract presentation, all well received.
